Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Blissful (the “Service”), an event registration and ticketing platform operated by Tees Blissful Events(“we”, “us”, or “our”), with offices at Geddes, Nkana East, Kitwe, Zambia. By creating an account, listing an event, or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Blissful
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
2. Two roles: Organizers and Attendees
Blissful serves two kinds of users. Organizers create events, sell tickets, and collect attendee information. Attendees register for events and pay where required.
Blissful is a platform — we are not the organizer, host, or seller of any event. The contract for an event itself is between the Organizer and the Attendee.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Run events that are illegal under Zambian law;
- Defraud Attendees, including selling tickets to events you don't intend to deliver;
- Send unsolicited bulk email outside of legitimate event communications;
- Upload malware, scrape the Service, or attempt to compromise other accounts;
- Impersonate another person or organization;
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or discriminate against any person.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.
4. Payments, fees, and payouts
Payments are processed by our payment partner Lenco (Card and Mobile Money). Blissful charges a commission on each paid registration based on the Organizer's subscription plan, plus any subscription fees the Organizer has agreed to.
Organizer payouts are made on request to a bank account or mobile-money wallet the Organizer has supplied. Payouts may be delayed or held while we investigate suspected fraud or chargeback risk. Available balance is shown in the Organizer dashboard.
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. Failure to pay places the subscription in “past due” status; after a 7-day grace period the account is downgraded to the free plan.
5. Refunds
Attendees: refunds are at the discretion of the Organizer. We do not offer refunds on behalf of Organizers, except where required by law. Contact the Organizer directly for refund requests on a paid event.
Organizers: Blissful subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; it will remain active through the end of the current billing period.
6. Content you upload
You retain ownership of the content you upload (event banners, logos, descriptions, custom fields). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
You represent that you have the right to upload everything you upload, and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.
7. Privacy and data
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you agree to that policy. Organizers act as data controllers for the Attendee data they collect via the Service; Blissful acts as their data processor for that data and as a controller for account-level data.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take it offline for maintenance, security, or to comply with legal requirements. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or engage in conduct that exposes us or other users to harm or legal risk. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; surviving sections (payment obligations, indemnification, dispute resolution) continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blissful disclaims all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for purpose, non-infringement). We are not responsible for the conduct of Organizers or Attendees, the quality of any event, or any loss caused by third-party services we integrate with (including Lenco).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ZMW 1,000.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your events, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Zambia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under these Terms.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
